4BROS Molle Belt Attachment Instructions
Share
The intent of this article is to provide step-by-step instructions for mounting our Molle Belt Adapter to a Molle Belt. The instructions below show the installation on a Kore Essentials B1 Battle Belt.
Safety Check:
Before following these instructions, please ensure your molle belt is free from all loaded firearms, magazines and other accessories.
Step 1
Remove the (2) 1/4" Fat Head Truss Screws from the back, bottom side of the Molle Belt Adapter and check post and spacer location to ensure the hardware is in the correct position for your belt.
Step 2
Orientate the accessory carrier on the belt so that the carrier is in the desired position on the belt and facing upright when the adapter is installed.
Step 3
Unfold the adapter legs and start them through the first row of Molle on the belt. It helps if you push the belt down flat, or even past flat, to reduce the tension on the Molle. The carrier will be upside down in this step.
Step 4
Push legs through the second set of molle while pushing the belt down flat or past flat.
Step 5
Fold the adapter over and align the holes in the legs to the threaded post and spacers. Double check to make sure the rubber spacers and making contact with the molle webbing without covering it.
Step 6
Carefully install the 1/4" Fat Head Truss Screw into the threaded post. Be mindful not to cross-thread the screw, it should start easily. Repeat for the second screw.
Step 7
Tighten each screw evenly and check to ensure the molle belt adapter is straight, the rubber spacers are touching the molle belt webbing and there is no play in the mounting.
Step 8
Verify the position of your accessory on your belt as desired, as displayed here on our Nightstick USB-558XL & USB-588XL Flashlight Carrier
Step 9
Once you have verified your accessory is in the position on the belt that you are satisfied with, we suggest using Vibra-Tite VC-3 as a thread-locking compound for long term hardware security. If you apply this product to your screws, be prepared to leave your belt setup in this configuration. Removing the hardware after applying VC-3 threadlocker is tedious.
We do not suggest using Vibra-tite 121 or blue Loctite threadlocker unless you are 100% sure this is the configuration you want to keep for the life of the belt.
