Holster thigh straps help keep a low or mid-ride holster from pulling away from the body when drawing your pistol. Our strap works well with the Safariland UBL and Blade-Tech Duty Drop holster attachments.
Our 1 1/2" Thigh Straps are made of lightweight Polypropylene webbing that is easy to clean, water repellant, mildew resistant, and low stretch material. The tensile strength is 1350 lbs. The 1.5” heavy gauge “gripper” polypropylene webbing features 2 gray rubber grip strips woven throughout the webbing to create a non-slip surface against the wearer without sacrificing comfort.
We added a small section of heavy duty woven elastic to allow the strap to stretch under movement and still retain a decent grip on the thigh without causing too much pressure.
Each thigh strap comes with an Acetal Side Release buckle. Acetal buckles are molded Thermoplastic buckles made from a high-strength lightweight, low-friction, and wear-resistant material.
The thread used to construct all straps is Mil-Spec V-T-265 Type 2 Bonded Nylon thread, 6 – 8 Stitches Per Inch with a break strength of 17 ½” lb. per sewn inch.
