I did not like this holster at first glance. The protrusions just below the belt clip seemed to obstruct my finger tips and I had trouble raising them to disengage it from my belt…. At first! After a day of getting used to something new, I was able to put on and remove my holster with ease.
The “wing” thing. Never had one, didn’t like it. It actually printed in a big way. The opposite of concealment. Removing it without smaller replacement ferrules is not possible but I was able to remove the extension and by it seems to be working fine, it might even help but I can’t tell by looking in the mirror. No harm no foul.
Retention is excellent and ease of draw is equally excellent. I remove my firearm from the holster in order to have it fit in my VAULTEK clock box, I carry with one in the chamber, as one should, deholstering should be smooth and require only as much force as necessary. My previous holster, when unworn and off my belt, was difficult to pull, and once free there was zero resistance. It kind of popped out. It never felt smooth or easy and therefore added increased risk of an accidental discharge. My new 4bro holster is secure but smooth as butter.
