Polymer80, Inc., founded in 2013 by Loran Kelley Jr. and David Borges, was an American company based in Dayton, Nevada. It specialized in manufacturing parts kits, including unfinished receivers, often referred to as "80 percent" receivers, used for creating privately made firearms. The company gained attention due to the association of its products with "ghost guns," leading to legal challenges in specific cases. On July 25, 2024, Polymer80 ceased operations and initiated the process of liquidating its assets.
