Fits the magazine perfectly and being able to adjust the retention is fantastic!
The fit of this holster for my set up is absolute perfection! The cut of the holster is perfect. It clears my suppressor height irons, wraps around my EPS carry sight like a glove, the edges are smooth, the pistol has perfect retention, I couldn’t be happier!
This holster setup is extremely well made, and I want to give credit where it’s due. The materials, fit, and overall construction are solid, and the company was very responsive when I reported that my original Tek-Lok arrived damaged. They immediately sent out a replacement, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the replacement was mishandled by the Post Office and never delivered, which only added to the frustration.
Even setting the shipping issue aside, I eventually had to accept that—despite the quality—the Tek-Lok design simply doesn’t work for concealed carry. Once the Tek-Lok is attached to your belt, it is almost impossible to open. The release tabs are positioned in a way that you cannot get your fingers around or underneath them while the holster is actually on your body. Videos online make it look easy, but they all show the mechanism being opened while held in the hand, not while worn. In real-world use, you would need unusually long or flexible fingers to reach the tabs.
I also found that the holster cannot be raised high enough to keep the bottom of the holster and pistol from peeking out beneath my shirt. For concealed carry, that’s a deal-breaker. In my experience, this OWB configuration—while well built—is simply not designed with CCW practicality in mind.
Overall, the craftsmanship and customer service are excellent, but the actual usability for concealed carry falls short of expectations.
Fits perfect. May need to loosen or tighten screws to your level of retention but out of all the options there are out there for the PDP pro X out there, this setup works. Using a stream light TLR1-HLX
