Several EDCs ago, I ordered a holster from another company that didn’t fit quite right. I contacted their customer service. Within minutes I had an email from them saying they would rush a new one to me right away, and to just please return the old one to them when I had a chance.
I expected something similar from 4 Brothers. I was wrong. I should have stuck with the company I previously mentioned like I have for the last 4 holsters I’ve bought.
My new 4 Brothers holster for my Shield X/TLR-7 Sub doesn’t have the positive click expected of a quality kydex holster. When I contacted customer service, they responded asking for photos. How does a photo show you that it doesn’t click? I know what they’re up to. They’re hoping for a photo showing that I’ve modified the gun in some way, and that the poor fit is my fault. It’s not. It’s a bone stock S&W Shield X with a bone stock TLR-7 Sub, and there’s only one way to mount the light.
I’ll send the photos, but I can only imagine the games their “customer service” will play with me after that. I’ve been down this road a couple times before. When a company starts playing the “send us photos” game, things rarely end well for the customer. Even if they take the holster back, I am sure they will make me pay for return shipping and I will have to wait weeks for a properly fitting holster to carry my new S&W.
