The holster's profile was shaped to allow the user to get an initial grip with their thumb and index finger, allowing a muzzle-down four-fingered grip immediately after being removed from the carrier. This design will allow you to utilize your hand to draw the light and immediately move your thumb to the light switch for one-hand light operation. There is no need to pull the light and adjust your grip at all.
We added a flared opening to the top to allow quick reholstering.
We left the bottom of the carrier open to allow heat from the light to dissipate if the light is activated while holstered.
The four assembly screws allow for adjustable retention. The holster is designed with a friction retention system on the muzzle end of the light.
The ribs on the front and back aren't there for your pleasure, they add strength and rigidity to the carrier to extend the life of the product.
We offer three mounting options for this holster:
- The Blade-Tech Tek-Lok Belt attachment allows the owner to adjust the system to fit belts between 1 ½” to 2 ¼” wide.
- The Molle attachment will require just one row of Molle.
- The Safariland QLS Fork Model 6004-19, which works with the QLS Receiver (sold separately)
The attachment points on the back allow for adjustable cant with the Blade-Tech Tek-Lok, Molle Lok, and the Safariland QLS fork.
The slim design of the holder will require just one row of Molle if that attachment is selected.
The hole location system is also compatible with the Blade-Tech Paddle, Adjustable Stingray, and Talon Retention Slide which can be purchased HERE.
The instructions on how to use a Tek-Lok can be reviewed in our blog article about the OWB Belt Attachments found here:
