Smith & Wesson SPEC Series M&P 9 Metal M2.0 OWB Holster with Streamlight TLR-1 HL

This Outside Waistband (OWB) holster is designed to fit the Smith & Wesson 2023 and 2024 SPEC Series M&P 9 Metal M2.0 pistols when equipped with a Streamlight TLR-1 HL or TLR-1 HP weapon-mounted light. Built for stability and consistent light-based retention, this holster is ideal for range use, training, and duty-style carry with a metal-frame pistol.

Light-bearing design: Retention is engineered on the Streamlight TLR-1 HL or TLR-1 HP rather than the firearm. As a result, this holster will not function without the light installed.

Compatibility note: This holster is not compatible with the Streamlight TLR-1 HL-X or TLR-1 HP-X.

Construction & Manufacturing

Each holster is vacuum-formed using a precision-machined mold created from a CAD model of the actual firearm and weapon light combination. This ensures proper clearance, consistent fit, and secure retention.

All holsters are formed, trimmed, and folded in-house. Final fit and function testing is completed using the actual pistol and light to confirm reliable retention and smooth draw performance.

Retention is user-adjustable, allowing draw resistance to be tuned to personal preference or duty requirements.

Minor dimensional differences between older and newer Streamlight TLR-1, TLR-1 HL or TLR-1 HP light bodies may affect fit. The retention system is designed to accommodate these tolerances.

Optics Compatibility

The holster profile is cut to clear most red dot sights, provided the optic does not overhang the slide on either side. Fit has not been confirmed with every optic on the market.

No. Retention is based on the Streamlight TLR-1 HL or TLR-1 HP and requires the light to be mounted.

Is this holster compatible with both 2023 and 2024 SPEC Series pistols?
Yes. This holster is designed for both the 2023 SPEC Series M&P 9 Metal M2.0 and the 2024 SPEC Series V M&P 9 Metal HD.

Can I adjust the retention?
Yes. Retention hardware allows you to fine-tune draw resistance.
