Maintenance Tip

To prevent lost screws during carry, we strongly recommend applying a removable thread locker (such as Loctite Blue 242) to each holster screw after setup.

Will this holster fit the M&P 9 Shield X with the thumb safety?
Yes. This holster is precision-molded for the Shield X so that it works with the Thumb Safety. It also works with the Shield X without the thumb safety.

Is this holster red dot compatible?
Absolutely. It’s cut to fit slide-mounted red dot optics like the Holosun 407k/507k, Shield RMSc, and similar sights.

Can I use this holster with a threaded barrel or compensator?
Yes. The open muzzle design allows for extended barrels and most compensators to pass through without obstruction.

What is a Modwing, and do I need it?
The Modwing is a concealment claw that pushes against the inside of your belt to rotate the grip closer to your body. It comes with two insert options to adjust the amount of pressure and concealment. It’s ideal for reducing printing, especially when carrying in the  appendix position (AIWB).

How do I adjust retention or ride height?
You can tighten or loosen the retention screws to change the draw resistance. Ride height and cant are adjusted by changing the screw placement on the mounting slots.

Is this holster ambidextrous?
No, this model is right- or left-handed selectable at checkout.
