Springfield Hellcat & Hellcat RDP OWB Holster for Streamlight TLR-8 Sub (1913OS)

This Outside Waistband (OWB) holster is precision-formed to fit the Springfield Hellcat and Hellcat RDP pistols equipped with the Streamlight 1913OS version (formerly SA Hellcat version) of the TLR-8 Sub or TLR-8 G Sub weapon-mounted light.

Important: The holster retention engages the light body, not the firearm. The holster will not retain the pistol unless the correct Streamlight light is properly mounted.

Compatible Streamlight Models (1913OS)

To ensure proper fit and function, this holster requires one of the following Streamlight TLR-8 Sub models designed for Springfield Armory 1913OS (formerly SA Hellcat version) frames:

  • TLR-8 X Sub USB (Part #69419)
  • TLR-8 X G Sub (Part #69439)
  • TLR-8 HL-X Sub (Part #69469)
  • TLR-8 HL-X G Sub (Part #69479)

This holster does not work with pistols that have a manual safety, and it will not work with other TLR-8 Sub versions or with the Hellcat Pro model.

Product Details

Each holster is vacuum-formed from a precision-machined CAD mold derived from the actual firearm and light combination. Units are formed, trimmed, and finished in-house. Final fit and function tests are performed with the real pistol and light to verify retention and draw quality.

Retention is user-adjustable so you can set draw tension to your preference. Note: the holster is long enough for both the Hellcat Micro Compact and the Hellcat RDP — Micro Compact users will observe approximately one inch of unused space at the muzzle end.

*We strongly recommend applying a removable thread locker to each screw after setup to prevent hardware loosening during use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this holster fit the Hellcat Pro?

No. This model is designed for the Hellcat and Hellcat RDP with the Streamlight TLR-8 Sub 1913OS light and is not compatible with the Hellcat Pro.

Can I use this holster with a manual safety pistol?

No. This holster does not function correctly with pistols that have a manual safety.

Does this holster work without the Streamlight light installed?

No. Retention is based on the weapon light; the light must be properly mounted for the holster to retain the firearm.

Will my red dot optic fit?

The holster is cut to clear most slide-mounted red dot sights. Optics that significantly overhang the slide may not fit — contact us with your optic model if you’re unsure.

Why is there extra space at the muzzle?

The holster length accommodates both the Hellcat Micro Compact and the Hellcat RDP. Micro Compact pistols will show about one inch of unused space at the muzzle end; this does not affect retention or performance.

Looking for a holster that works with a Springfield Hellcat OSP, modified with the threaded barrel and compensater and also adding a Streamlight TLR8XG Sub light/laser and found it difficult to find a manufacturer even offering a holster for this setup was tiring.
