Description

Outside Waistband Holster designed to fit the Springfield Hellcat Pro pistol with the Streamlight TLR-7 X or TLR-7 A pistol weapon mounted light.

The holster retention is on the light itself and not the pistol, which means this holster will not work without the light mounted on the firearm.

This holster is designed to use the UNIV-1 Key with the TLR-7A or TLR-7X light.

The data sheet for the Streamlight TLR-7 X can be found here.

The holster works with the TLR-7A or TLR-7X light, other handgun lights will not fit correctly.  This holster will NOT work with the TLR-7 Sub light.

This holster is not designed to work with the Hellcat Pro with the manual safety.

Product Details:

Our holsters are vacuum-formed with a precision machined mold designed from a CAD model of the actual firearm.

Each holster is formed, trimmed, and folded in-house. Final fit and function tests are done with the actual pistol and light to ensure the holster fits the gun/light combination and has the correct amount of retention.

The holster's retention is easily adjusted so that the fit can be set to your personal preference.

Holster/Paddle combo ejected magazine

Final EDIT:
I trimmed the holster with a utility blade and fine file. It no longer ejects the magazine. Jason from FB communicated regularly about the issue so credit him for that at least. It’s no small oversight that this combo caused the magazine to literally fall out of my hand gun. I was offered a $25 store credit or refund. I get the idea that it would cost “$10 for shipping labels, plus labor” for them to correct the issue as Jason put it. So perhaps from that point of view $25 is enough. I don’t agree. Closer to half off the holster for me to deal with the problem myself and keep the holster would have been a more acceptable gesture. I was willing to accept $35-$40 on a store credit even; which would have meant it cost them nothing unless I spent more money on their site. Nope…. $25, period.
To be clear: this was not my issue… it’s an oversight in four brothers design. Period. Their oversight caused the issue. I wonder frankly if I was even believed, even though I sent a crystal clear video of the obvious issue. They did process the refund for $25.
They had a chance to say hey, thanks for letting us know about this issue clearly and concisely… what do you think makes it right? $35-40 store credit? You bet. Instead they chose to fall short and pridefully stick to that subpar offer. Had they really taken full responsibility for the issue this holster should have been refunded in full and even a small maybe 10% code issued toward purchase of the new redesigned holster Jason says is on the way. By that I mean half off just the $75 (tax not included) aholster… not the mag carrier or lock tite I purchased, or the paddle either… just the holster. I’d have 5 starred this mess for their manning up and taking it on the chin since it is THEIR issue, their mistake. Disappointing. Not excellent service as they claim on their site…period. They didn’t really own it. I teach my sons better, and I live it too. These guys did not do so this time.

First photo is before I trimmed the holster, second is after.
Video shows the issue clearly before I fixed it.

Second EDIT:
Jason from FB replied as you can see below…asking me to send the holster back to fix the issue. There is no way to fix this current holster without trimming it so it won’t push against the mag release. I can do that myself without the trouble and waiting for USPS to maybe not even get it to them or back to me.
I sent emails to FB with a picture and video of the issue. I’ll see how they handle it and update this review. They didn’t send a shipping label as of yet in any event… the best solution is a refund of some kind and I’ll fix this myself… they can handle the “fix” on new holsters they produce and perhaps trimming the ones in their inventory.

First EDIT….
The holster presses the magazine release!!! I typed the original review below after using this holster for 2 days… the first day I was sitting on the couch and when I got up the magazine was lying there! I hadn’t loaded the gun yet and was showing it to my oldest son… I thought maybe I just hadn’t fully seated the magazine. Today when I got out of my work van to pump gas, there was my magazine on the seat!! I tried to push the gun as it was in the holster against my body to see if the mag would release… YUP. I can push against the gun in the holster and get the mag to pop out easily almost every single time I try. This is pretty unbelievable… this $90 holster/paddle combo is UNUSABLE unless I cut the holster so it can’t press the mag release.

Original review:
It’s a decent holster overall. It fits the gun and light very well. It has good retention and the storm grey is a good color. I like the paddle as it’s comfortable and it fits tightly around a gun belt. It also can be adjusted for different belt widths. I use a wide 1-3/4” belt and it fits that great.
I don’t like how the paddle attachment to the holster where the belt adjustment uses only one screw. There are two other screws holding the holster to the paddle but that adjustable part really should have two instead of one. That screw is also loose and would NOT tighten at all without a couple big drops of thread lock. Why is that so loose??
I can’t rate it higher for one main reason and that is that there is no adjustment for cant. I’d really prefer to rotate it forward a 5-10 degrees but that’s not an option. I’ve gotten cheaper holsters that at least give me that option.
The last thing is less about this holster and more about the FB offering. There really should be a level II OWB for this gun/light combo. I really like a thumb release as it’s not visible but between the gun and the wearer. I’d really like this holster a lot if it had such a release and that draw angle adjustment.
Again, overall it’s pretty good… it could’ve been great though.

A must

Great products and perfectly fits everything.

Poor quality

Overpriced, screws are far too loose, if tightened gun is far to hard to draw and have had the holster retain the light taking it straight off my gun while drawing.

Nick, please give us a call about this issue. It sounds like the light is not mounted to the pistol correctly which could cause a safety issue regardless of the holster you use.

Hellcat Pro with TLR-7A OWB Holster

Let me just say… WOW! I placed my order on Friday and it shipped the same day and delivered the following Monday. Amazing! The fit and finish of the holster is perfect and the retention seems spot on. Love this holster so far. This was my first order with 4Bros, but it certainly won’t be my last.
