Description

M&P Shield X IWB Holster + IWB Magazine Carrier (Streamlight TLR-7 Sub 1913)

This right- or left-hand inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster and magazine carrier combo is precision-built for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield X equipped with the Streamlight TLR-7 Sub 1913 footprint. The package includes a Modwing on the holster and your choice of Discreet Carry Concepts Monoblock or Ulticlip UltiTuck belt attachments on both the holster and the mag pouch.

Light Compatibility & Data Sheets

Fitment Requirements

  • Retention is on the light body, not the pistol. The holster will not function without the light installed.
  • Requires the TLR-7 Sub or TLR-7 X Sub 1913 version (part #69402) mounted using the #3 key.
  • Also compatible with TLR-7 X Sub USB (part #69407) and TLR-7 HL-X Sub (part #69505) using the #3 key.

Carry Adjustments & Setup

  • Adjustable retention to fine-tune draw resistance.
  • Ride height and cant allow you to customize concealment and draw angle.
  • Modwing with two insert options increases concealment leverage by bringing the grip closer to the body.

Holster Construction & Features

  • Precision molded fit on CNC-machined tooling using a CAD model of the Shield X with light.
  • Red-dot compatible: designed to clear most slide-mounted optics.
  • Full sweat guard to shield the firearm from moisture and body contact.
  • Open muzzle to accommodate threaded barrels or compensators.
  • Minimal footprint with smooth edges to reduce printing.
  • .093" thermoplastic for durable daily carry.
  • Made in the USA: built in Indiana by Four Brothers Holsters.

Magazine Carrier Details

The included IWB magazine pouch is engineered for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield X magazine. Its added length helps seat more of the magazine below the belt line, improving concealment and reducing outward tipping (“magazine print”). The smooth back and rounded edges minimize hot spots and provide a flat surface should you add moleskin or foam wedges (not included).

  • Ambidextrous: carry rounds forward or rearward at any IWB position.
  • Adjustable height and cant up to roughly 20 degrees.
  • .080" thermoplastic for strength and longevity.
  • Made and assembled in the USA.
  • MRD retention: adjust using a 1/8" Allen wrench (guide: Magazine Retention with the MRD).

FAQs

Will this holster work without the light attached?
No. Retention is on the Streamlight TLR-7 Sub/X Sub light body, so the holster requires the light to be installed.
Which TLR-7 Sub model and key do I need?
Use the 1913 version (part #69402) with the #3 key. It also fits the TLR-7 X Sub USB (#69407) and TLR-7 HL-X Sub (#69505) with the #3 key.
Does the holster clear red dot optics?
Yes. The holster profile is designed to clear most slide-mounted red dot sights.
What belt attachment should I choose?
The DCC Monoblock provides robust belt retention; the UltiTuck enables beltless or tucked-in carry. See our guide: Inside Waistband Attachment Options Explained.
How do I adjust magazine retention?
The mag pouch uses an MRD; adjust with a 1/8″ Allen wrench. Instructions: Magazine Retention with the MRD.
